Motion made in federal court to dismiss charges against Rasmea Odeh - by Rasmea Defense Committee
Attorneys representing Chicago’s long-time Palestinian community leader, Rasmea Odeh, have filed a motion and brief in Detroit’s U.S. District Court to dismiss the indictment against her. They are doing so on the grounds that the charges are the product of an illegal investigation targeting both Palestine solidarity efforts and organizing in the Palestinian community.

Israeli Ship Blocked in Oakland - by Steve Martinot
The Palestine solidarity movement in the East Bay successfully blocked an Israeli ship from being fully unloaded. In the process, serious malfeasance by the Port of Oakland occurred in its collusion with the ship, and against the community and the longshore union (ILWU).

Major Victory Against Israel Apartheid Regime-Zim Lines Ship Piraeus Forced To Leave Port - by Tansport Workers Solidarity Committee
In a major labor victory against the Israeli Zim Lines, their ship the Piraeus was forced to leave the Port of Oakland after a mass march, picketing of berth 57 and the refusal of ILWU Local 10 and ILWU Local 34 to work the ship under armed police from the Oakland police department and Alameda County deputies.

Keep The Israeli Zim Ship Stranded-Zim Ship Stuck In Port Of Oakand - by Transport Workers Solidarity Committee
Labor and community pickets from Oakland won the support of ILUW workers at the Port of Oakland on the evening of August 18 when they refused to cross the picket line. Over 100 police were there to escort the longshore workers in but most union members refused to cross and were later sent home. More support is needed to keep the racist Israeli government's ship stranded in the port of Oakland
