American Apathy Tour 2002
After witnessing the divide between the rich and the poor grow ever larger, a group of high school students decided to produce a play to give a voice to "America's non-rich."
Written and directed by high school senior, John Loughlin-Presnal, "American Apathy" is the story of eight Americans desparately seeking the American Dream ("you work hard, you get paid, you buy stuff"), while living the American nightmare.
“American Apathy” plays at the Bannam Place Theatre (50 A Bannam Pl.) at 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, Friday, July 5, & Saturday, July 7. Admission is by donation.
