The next gallery events are on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6-9 PM at 708 Montgomery Street. The exhibit includes paintings, drawings, photos, prints, collage and short poems by over thirty Bay Area artists, poets and photographers. Three themes are highlighted to celebrate San Francisco bridges and the people who built them: Immigrants, Diversity and Internationalism. Not wheelchair accessible.

The companion exhibit at the History Center of San Francisco Public Library, 100 Larkin Street, 6th Floor, displays historic photos and objects from the construction of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and other historic San Francisco bridges. The exhibit celebrates the immigrant engineers who designed the bridges, the children of immigrants who built the older bridges, the women and multiculturally diverse workers who built the new bridge, and the internationalism of the Golden Gate International Exposition and of the founding conference of the United Nations. The Library exhibit runs through July and August. Wheelchair Accessible.
