Yeah, Bernie, yeah, bunches of socialist-trending liberals, yeah, heaps of neighbors stand, speak, mumble in favor of universal health care. But ask how it's to be paid for and the remarks largely fall upon taxing high incomes while hardly addressing the predictable resistance there is and which will harden in the face of calls for increased income taxes.

Yet there is a reasonable and sufficient source of public revenue to meet such public goods as health care, namely land values.

Come along on a walking tour both surveying San Francisco social movement history and illuminating a San Francisco social justice public policy proposal capable of setting right a host of chronic social questions, including how to fund social goods such as universal health care.

Rising land values reflect the ever-changing nature of community. Why not recapture for public purposes the rising land rents of the nation?

Bernie, you and your neighbors, and all bleeding heart liberals, as well as supposedly hard-hearted conservatives encouraged to attend this free walking tour.
