Her cult leader has taken millions of dollars from the large companies and deregulated labor and sought to fire and jail striking railway workers and union activists.
Also a statement was made by the UESF which represents teachers in San Francisco in solidarity.
The rally was sponsored by the Transport Workers Solidarity Committee http://www.transportworkers.org and United Public Workers For Action http://www.upwa.info

Solidarity Statement With Korean Workers By AFT UESF President Lita Blanc
United Educators of San Francisco stands in solidarity with the Korean workers who are on striking today in defense of their fundamental union rights. The 6200 educators of San Francisco know that your fight is our fight! We support your right to organize without fear of reprisal or repression. We support your fight for due process protection on the job and your right for a living wage. Here in California, we have successfully fought against corporate- funded attempts to erode our right to organize but we know that, now, more than ever, working people will be coming under attack and as educators and as unionists, we have to stand up for labor
rights here and abroad.

San Francisco Solidarity Song Salute for the 2016 Korean General Strike
Parody verses by Vic Sadot to the tune of The Times They Are A’Changin’ by Bob Dylan
Come gather 'round people wherever you roam
From Seoul to Jeju Island to the DMZ zone
And accept it that soon you'll be bilked to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin'…
Then you better be unified or you'll sink like a stone
For the times, they are a-chang - in'
Today in Korea there’s a General Strike
And millions are marching about what they don’t like
They’re telling their President to go take a hike (Park Geun-hye)
It’s clear that the people have spoken!
Cause the banksters and the war pigs are poopin’ their pants!
For the times they are a-changin’!
These systems are rotten; They’re run for the few
They master the many with debt burdens too
The great commonwealth birthrights, they rob them from you!
This theft’s called “pri-va-ti-zation”
If you learn your true history, you’ll know what to do!
For the times they are a-changin’!
The capitalists covet the national rails
And the government grovels at their toes and their tails
While our fine union comrades fill their filthy jails
But their Big Lies are finally failin’!
And the Great Ship of Labor has the wind in her sails!
For the times they are a-changin’!
