City Council Candidate Endorsement Meeting and Forum 8-29-2016
The forum was held at the Lounden Nelson Community Center and was hosted by the Peoples Democratic Club. The event cosponsors were ACLU, Affordable Housing Now!, Climate Action Network, The GLBT Alliance, NAACP, People's Democratic Club, and the Sierra Club. The candidates were looking for the endorsement of People's Democratic Club and Santa Cruz for Bernie Sanders.
Santa Cruz came out last night for Santa Cruz City Council Candidates forum! The room was filled to capacity as the event started, and soon there was a large overflowing crowd Many folks stood outside the doors to try to hear the candidates speak! I was covering the event on behalf of Drew Glover for Santa Cruz City Council!.
