South Africa ban on US poultry because of 48 million bird deaths brings recriminations from Obama administration which later forced S Africa to lose aid money unless it caved and imported the sick birds.

China banned US poultry products in March of 2015 because of the number of avian flu deaths. Since China has more power than South Africa, the US has not been so insistent with China.

Meanwhile Costco chicken has made people sick in 7 states.

The USDA acts only a small percentage of the time in doing needed recalls in the US and has an atrocious record re other countries.
