by Labor Video Project
Hundreds of workers, seniors and community members rallied against the evictions and displacement of poor and working people from San Francisco. They demanded legislation that would stop the epidemic of evictions.

Tens of thousands of San Francisco workers, children and poor face evictions as speculators running San Francisco drive them out of their homes. According to workers and activists who rallied at San Francisco City Hall on September 10, 2015 they are being driven out of the city with the government in collusion with the speculators and landlords. Democratic Mayor Ed Lee and his allies on the Board of Supervisors are also in collusion with these crooked developers and speculators according to some of the protesters.
