Help us fix democracy — First — so we can get a government that works.

Lawrence Lessig has been a leader in the fight for our freedoms. Now he is fighting for our equality as citizens by restoring voting rights and changing the way campaigns are funded.

We invite you to read our mission and discover how our plan will bring back our democracy once and for all. Let’s make this a reality. Please help by contributing and volunteering.

Our Idea

A National Referendum

For Equality as Citizens
We must fix the rigged system. First.

82% of Americans believe the system is rigged. Before we listen to more politicians’ promises, we must find a way to un-rig that rigged system. Here is our plan.

Our Idea

A National Referendum

For Equality as Citizens
How a Referendum Works

A referendum is “We, the People” speaking, so that “They, the Congress” must listen. Our Constitution doesn’t give us a power of a referendum, but we’ve found a hack to put one on the ballot in 2016.

Our Idea

A National Referendum

For Equality as Citizens
The Citizen Equality Act of 2017

Three core principles:

flat-flagEqual freedom to vote

flat-flagEqual representation

flat-flagCitizen Funded Elections

The core principle of representative democracy is that we are all equal citizens. Corruption creates 2nd class citizens. The Citizen Equality Act of 2017 would fix that, and a referendum president would have the mandate to pass it. Once it is passed, we could begin to rebuild a democracy that inspires free people everywhere, and gives us a government that works again.
