Calling all Bay Area-raised, woman-identified artists! Deadline Sept. 1st.
Hidden in Plain Sight: A Radical Feminist Art Space invites Bay Area raised, women artists to submit work to our upcoming show at Incline Gallery! Submission deadline September 1, 2015.
By speaking our truth through art and creating the space to share it, we challenge dominant oppressive forces––patriarchy, white supremacy, heteronormativity, and capitalism––that work to silence and isolate us from each other.
The show features women-identified artists who were raised in the Bay Area. This is an opportunity to elevate local voices as we are being uprooted, excluded, and driven apart as our home is reshaped socially, economically, and politically.
To Submit: Send your idea for the show + bio + work samples to dreamsquad415 [at] gmail.com by September 1st. All mediums welcome. Must be Bay Area-raised and woman-identified to apply!
