Are NUKE Workers/Communities Safe? OSHA, NRC/AEC Captured Agencies Say Whistleblowers

Bob Rowen, a member of IBEW 1245 and a PG&E nuclear plant control inspector at Humboldt Bay nuclear plant and Darrell Whitman, a Federal OSHA lawyer who is also a steward with AFGE Local 2371 who investigated retaliation complaints against OSHA whistleblowers spoke at an international conference on July 18, 2015 called Nuclear Power, Health and Safety, Labor and The Fight in a Court. They reported that when there were serious health and safety problems the nuclear facility in Humboldt Ba yPG&E was able to retaliate against whistleblowers with impunity. Also OSHA and the Nuclear Regulatory Agency NRC/AEC refused to protect whistleblowers and federal officials who were seeking to enforce the law.
