Community TV of Santa Cruz County is hosting Saturday morning workshops on citizen journalism starting this Saturday at 9 a.m. Come learn more about telling the stories of your community.
“Getting Started in Citizen Journalism: Ethics, Issues, Practices” (May 30);
“Citizen Journalism Basics: Journalism Style, Sources, Covering a Beat” (June 13);
“Video Storytelling & Podcasts” (June 27); and
“Citizen Journalism Technology, Platforms, Monetization” (July 11).
Classes will be held at 816 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz.
