The United States of Injustice

The United States of Injustice

by Stephen Lendman

None whatever exists. Guilt by accusation suffices for anyone Washington wants convicted.

Innocence is no defense. Juries are pressured to convict. Evidence when absent is invented. Lack of proof doesn't matter.

Thousands of political prisoners languish in America's gulag - at home and abroad. Thousands more are imprisoned for misdemeanors too minor to matter - ones for which just societies wouldn't tolerate incarceration.

Wrongful convictions are longstanding US practice - including numerous victims sentenced to capital punishment for crimes they didn't commit.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is the latest example - wrongfully convicted on 30 counts, 17 subject to possible capital punishment.

His kangaroo court trial mocked judicial fairness. It wreaked of inconsistencies, distortions, contrived claims and Big Lies.

His conviction was almost entirely based on convoluted testimony from one dubious witness unable get his account of events straight - plus photos showing the Tsarnaev brothers present near the Boston marathon finish line. So were hundreds of others charged with no crime.

On Friday, Dzhokhr was sentenced to death despite no evidence proving guilt. Ironically, he was the first post-9/11 federal capital punishment victim.

Lead prosecuting attorney Carmen Ortiz praised what she called "a fair and just verdict."

"Even in the wake of horror and tragedy, we are not intimidated by acts of terror or radical ideals," she said.

"On the contrary, the trial of this case has showcased an important American ideal that even the worst of the worst deserve a fair trial and due process of law."

US Attorney General Loretta Lynch called capital punishment for Tsarnaev "a fitting punishment."

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said he hoped the verdict "provides a small amount of closure" for survivors.

Tsarnaev's father, Anzor, said he intends to "fight (the verdict) until the end." Dzhokhar is the latest homeland war on terror victim - unjustly charged, wrongfully convicted.

Post-9/11, numerous other Muslims were persecuted, arrested, falsely charged, prosecuted and convicted for alleged crimes they didn't commit.

It's the wrong time to be Muslim in America. Automatic guilt follows terrorism accusations.

Washington's rogue agenda needs enemies. Fear-mongering is used to justify its phony war on terror.

Muslims are America's target of choice. They're vilified for praying to the wrong God - for their race and ethnicity, for opposing Washington's war on Islam.

They're stereotypically portrayed as culturally inferior, dirty, lecherous, untrustworthy, religiously fanatical and violent - compared to Western high-minded moral superiority.

Media war on Islam makes it easy to convict victims like Tsarnaev. Judicial lynching follows vilification in the court of public opinion.

US Criminal justice requires following rule of law standards. Guilt must be PROVED BASED ON CREDIBLE EVIDENCE BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT.

At the same time, jurors aren't given reasonable doubt guidance. Prosecutors take full advantage. America's system is inherently unfair. Nothing is done to change things.

Evidence suggests the Boston bombing was state-sponsored terrorism - a false flag black operation.

Earlier articles discussed it in detail. Craft International (a Blackwater USA type firm) operatives dressed in military-style attire were near the marathon's finish line.

So were FBI agents - before the incident occurred. Media scoundrels ignored what was vital to report. Doing so would have compromised the official story. Older brother Tamerlan might be alive today. Dzhokhar might never have been convicted.

Fear-mongering replaced truth and full disclosure. Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were used as convenient patsies.

Police murdered Tamerlan in cold blood. Dzhokhar's turn awaits - victimized by criminal injustice.

He pleaded innocent to all 30 charges. It bears repeating. Not a shred of evidence suggested guilt.

Shockingly, his lead defense lawyer, Judy Clark, conceded guilt in her closing arguments. She blamed Tamerlan for coercing Dzhokhar to go along with what no evidence proved either brother committed.

She called only four witnesses on his behalf - compared to 92 for federal prosecutors. Guilt on all counts didn't surprise, nor capital punishment sentencing.

Dzhokhar never had a chance. Court of public opinion lynching combined with prosecutorial distortions, misinformation and Big Lies assured conviction.

An innocent young man will die for a crime he didn't commit. He'll languish on death row until state-sponsored murder takes him.

His life ended before it barely began. In April 2013, he was 19 years old when the incident occurred.

He was an honor student, a Greater Boston League all-star wrestler, a city of Cambridge scholarship winner.

What motive could he possibly have to commit terrorism, or brother Tamerlan?

His father calls him a "true angel." He insists both brothers were "set up." They "killed my older son Tamerlan," he said.

They want his younger one, too. America stops at nothing to advance its imperial agenda.

Taking innocent lives doesn't matter. Scoundrel media misinformation supports what demands condemnation.

Keeping It Unreal -- Another Show Trial For Another Patsy -- 5/15/14
https://donaldjeffries.wordpress.com/2015/05/15/another-show-trial-for-another-patsy/

Tsarnaev’s attorney was Judy Clarke, who seems to gravitate to these cases. She built her undeserved reputation by “defending” the likes of Unabomber Ted Kaczynski and purported Gabby Giffords’ assailant Jared Lee Loughner. Despite the fact that Tsarnaev had initially pleaded not guilty to all 30 charges against him, and the myriad of easily detected holes in the case against him, Clarke opened her defense by telling the court, “It was him.” There was no attempt to cross-examine the dubious witnesses, or dismantle the easily dismantled arguments of the prosecution. Instead, Clarke blamed Dzhokhar’s deceased older brother, killed under very questionable circumstances by the police, and insinuated that the younger boy was merely a naive dupe.

Clarke’s ridiculous, twenty minute closing statement consisted of attempts to cast her client in the role of misguided, jealous sibling. “He expressed he was jealous of his brother, who achieved martyrdom,” Clarke declared. She did not explain how he was by any definition a martyr, or who would have considered him as such. She bought every bit of the absurd official narrative, including the mind numbingly impossible “confession” Dzhokhar supposedly wrote on the side of the boat where he was captured.

If you were accused of such a horrific crime, and had pleaded Not Guilty, you surely would wish to obtain the great services of the "dream team" lawyer, Judy Clarke, who opened her defense by telling the court, “It was him.” Of course you would. And how did she also get to "defend" Eric Robert Rudolph, known as the Olympic Park Bomber, the Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, and Jared Lee Loughner (who pleaded guilty to 19 charges of murder and attempted murder in connection with the shooting near Tucson)? They all received "the other death penalty," "life."

GlobalResearch -- In Defense of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev: The Real Smoking Gun in Boston -- 4/21/15
http://www.globalresearch.ca/in-defense-of-dzhokhar-tsarnaev-the-real-smoking-gun-in-boston/5444782

As 21WIRE outlined previously, there are a number key points and unique anomalies that have been overlooked in this case. None however, are as compelling as this smoking gun:

Positioned near the finish line, we can reveal what could very well be the real suspect in this bombing – a person dressed as a black haired woman, or ‘purse lady’. Her image can be clearly seen in multiple photographs taken on the day of the incident, and based on the evidence we’ll present, it’s very likely that this person was responsible for the second Boston Bombing explosion.

In the exhibit below, depicting the second bomb scene at Boylston Street in Boston, we will show how this person clearly dropped a purse in front of the fence, calmly walks away, just before a device was detonated at that very spot.

It seems that neither branch of the mass media, either the mainstream or the alternate media have yet to touch this aspect of the Boston Bombing Trial. Speaking as a former US attorney (Kurt Haskell), this would represent much of the defense case, and should instill some reasonable doubt.

There are what look like over 100 anomalies that indicate reasonable doubt.

21St Century Wire -- 5 Key Questions That Were Not Asked During Trial of ‘Boston Bomber’ Dzhokhar -- 4/8/15
http://21stcenturywire.com/2015/04/08/5-key-questions-which-werent-asked-during-trial-of-boston-bomber-dzhokhar/

Despite a wall of denial and evasion, some smarter elements of the media discovered that not only did the FBI know who BOTH brothers were, but elder brother Tamerlan (photo above) had already been recruited by the agency as an informant years before the Boston Bombing (his file is likely classified, meaning the public will not allowed to know the whole story), and although he is not live to tell his side of the story – he was most likely working for either the FBI or another agency in that capacity. This explains why Tamerlan traveled overseas in the summer of 2012 to attend the American Committee for Peace in the Caucasus – an event that was organized by the Jamestown Foundation – a well-known CIA front, which is part of a vast network “controlled by Freedom House (George Soros) and linked to the CIA”, as explained in detail by Voltaire Network. Former British diplomat and intelligence analyst Craig Murray has also weighed-in with a similar conclusion.

Initially the FBI made a public plea for any photographs from bystanders to help them locate the perpetrators. What followed was a flood of photographs, many of them posted up on the popular hacking forum 4Chan. These photos would have shocked anyone who saw them, only they were completely blacked-out by the US mainstream media – as if they did not exist. They clearly depicted multiple mercenaries, some of whom wore the insignia for Craft International, a private mercenary and special ops agency based in Dallas, Texas. Some photos even detailed a backpack left on the ground by one of the operatives depicted in the photos. Almost immediately after the 4Chan photo dump surfaced online, the FBI staged a press conference to tell the public not to look at any other photos and declared that ‘no other suspects should be considered’

[...]

Why were Boston Police previously in hot pursuit of two completely different named suspects before the Tsarnaevs were named, and why are they both dead?

The most disturbing fact in the FBI’s ‘Tsarnaev Brothers’ storyline, is that hours before the fugitive brothers’ photos were thrust into the national spotlight by the FBI, two other suspects were being pursued on April 18th, and may have been killed following that multiple manhunt. The first two names which were announced as suspects by the police were Mike Mulugeta, reportedly as shot dead, and the other suspect was that missing 22 year old Brown University student named Sunil Tripathi.

Dzhokhar exited the boat uninjured, yet, he was hospitalized later with a ‘throat injury’. How could he have penned such a perfect confession whilst hiding under a boat tarp in the middle of a fire fight?
