Community Safety Tent at Cinco de Mayo festival in San Jose

For 5 de Mayo weekend, we look to continue the tradition of grassroots resistance through cop watching and reclaiming our community in San Jose. A collective of local groups have organized a Community Safety Tent and will host Know Your Rights Trainings throughout the day, show video footage, share a barbecue, and open space for a community speak out at 3pm. We will also be organizing cop watching shifts that everyone can participate in. See you at the tent!
