Does California need such an office?
...........................
In the USA, five states don't have an office of Lieutenant Governor.
[ Statesman Journal, 13 Feb. 2015].
That's one-tenth of the states.
These five include Oregon, where the Secretary of State becomes Governor
when the Governor's office becomes vacant; as happened recently.
If one-tenth of our states don't need a Lieutenant Governor,
then neither does California.
Voters should abolish this useless office!
