Richmond, California's vacant City Council seat

Richmond City Councilors are attempting to come to an agreement about who will fill the Council seat vacated by newly elected Mayor Tom Butt, who swore in as mayor in January. The Richmond Progressive Alliance is backing Marilyn Langlois because, according to Councilor Eduardo Martinez, she's the best candidate.
