7 year old has umbrella drive to give back to Oakland Community

Olivia is 7 and last year when her mother was diagnosed and fighting a rare blood cancer the community rallied to show support . She saw first hand the impact of strangers rallying together to help someone that they had no real connection to.
This year Olivia wants to give back!

Liv is giving back from Jan 5 to Feb 2 Her goal was to gather 500 umbrellas for children here in the #BAYAREA so she can give back to the same community that helped her. We have met that goal in the first 2 wks, and in 2 days of announcing new goals, it looks like we will surpass those as well.

All we are asking is if this can be shared on whatever media platform you choose and will to help Olivia reach a wider audience !

We have reached our 1st goal and surpassed it in 2 weeks, and have set new goals!
This is a great opportunity for parents, teachers and educators to use this as a tool to teach kids the value of community service, giving back and just being a good human being! If you donate even better, all it takes is $5.00 to purchase an umbrella!
