The Real Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Friday, Jan. 16, 7pm
2969 Mission St., SF

Today, Martin Luther King Jr. is most remembered for having a dream of a “color blind” country; however, he is rarely remembered for his criticism of the U.S. economic system, his dedication to ending poverty, his opposition to the Vietnam War, and his view that mass social movements were needed to change society.

Join the Party for Socialism and Liberation to remember this leader of the Civil Rights movement by talking about what he really stood for and what it will take to build a truly just American society

PLUS: Crisis in Haiti: Why are people in the streets? What is the role of the U.S.? Come for analysis and discussion about the struggle for justice in Haiti.

Presentación y Foro Público

El verdadero legado de Martin Luther King Jr.

viernes, 16 de enero, 7pm
2969 Calle Mission, San Francisco
