Cindy Sheehan write-in vote

I will be writing in Cindy Sheehan for governor on Nov. 4th.

I will be writing in Cindy Sheehan for governor on Nov. 4th. I cannot vote for Jerry Brown, for many reasons, the latest being his support for fracking and Prop 1. I would NEVER vote for a republi-con. So I will write in Cindy Sheehan. I hope I will not be the only one doing this-send a message to the Democratic Party.

§They took away the write-in space (for Governor and other 'partisan' offices)

As part of the same bunch of laws that implemented the "Top Two" primary (that made it essentially impossible for candidates from the Peace and Freedom Party, the Green Party, and from other parties who aren't members of the two "dinosaur parties" to be on the November ballot any more), they also REMOVED the Write-In Space -- that we've had for umpteen decades! So for actually ALL of the "partisan" races (not just Governor but also Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, etc., etc., and also U.S. Congress and State Legislature) there is NOT a write-in space on the ballot! (And if you try to write in someone anyway, they definitely won't count it, and depending on the county you live in and the ballots that are used there, you might actually "spoil" your ballot and invalidate your votes for other offices!).

Some democracy, eh? Hah! It seems more and more like some sort of dictatorship every year!
