Turkey again caught arming ISIS

Turkey again caught arming ISIS; Turkish civil society setting up a camp on the border to prevent Turkish support to ISIS
Turkey again caught arming ISIS.

How cynical is it that the US Govt plans to have Saudi Arabia and Turkey, ISIS's main funders in the early days, to now "train" Syrians to fight ISIS. That reeks of bullshit. Is ISIS part of the new "dual containment" (just like during the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war)? Maintaining murderous chaos by arming both sides of a conflict, in order to keep everyone in check?

Wednesday, 17 September 2014 14:39 hawarnews

Kobani- According to local sources in Gerêspiyê, Turkish train stood two days ago opposite to 'Slep Qeran' village, which is under IS control, and sent down ammunition and logistic support for IS mercenaries, noting that there is no train station in that area.

The sources reported "with the start of IS attacks on Kobanî canton two days ago, the Turkish train which passes through the boundary between north and south of Kurdistan stood opposite to 'Slep Qeran village west of Gerêspiyê (white hill) and sent down boxes seem like munitions and logistic support for IS mercenaries".

The same sources confirmed that there is no train station opposite to this village, and the train stops there only to take down the support for those mercenaries.

Kurds in North Kurdistan go to Kobanê border
Thursday, 18 September 2014 14:00 hawarnews

NEWS DESK - Thousands of people are preparing to secure the border with Kobanê to prevent Turkish state support for ISIS gangs.

At 4 pm today thousands of people will march from the town of Suruç to the border.

While YPG/YPJ forces are continuing to resist ISIS gang attacks on the Kobanê Canton, there is intense activity going on in North Kurdistan.

Following calls for mobilisation by the KCK Executive Council, PKK Executive Committee member Murat Karayılan and the Kurdistan People's Initiative preparations have begun in many towns and districts in North Kurdistan to go to the Kobanê border.

DBP Suruç district co-chair İsmail Kaplan told Stêrk TV that they would march to the border today at 4 pm.

Kaplan drew attention to increasing attacks by ISIS and to the Turkish state providing arms and munitions to the gangs by train, adding: "We will definitely prevent support for the gangs at the border. We will set up tents and mount a vigil. We will secure the border and stop gang members crossing and the provision of support."

Kaplan said the inhuman ISIS gangs were aiming to carry out a massacre in Kobanê with their latest assaults, adding: "the people of Rojava are not alone. I call on all those who consider themselves to be patriotic, revolutionary, democratic or just a human being, to immediately join our action."

Note: YPG are an anticapitalist militia governed by democratic councils in the northern Syrian regions they protect. YPJ is the female-only militia. They have been fighting ISIS for two years and are embargoed by the islamist Erdogan government in Turkey on the north, Iraqis on the east, and face ISIS in the South.
