EMERGENCY ALERT: Raid on Occupy2Decolonize site scheduled for Tuesday morning

by 2-feathers (parkguard [at] riseup.net)
CalTrans posts notices of intent to raid the Occupy2Decolonize site on Tuesday, Sept. 9th

On Friday, Sept. 5th, notices were found at the Occupy2Decolonize which had been placed there by CarTrance [the California state agency formerly known as CalTrans], declaring their intent to conduct a raid of the O2D site on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 9am. Listed on the notices were completely unfounded charges, like `unlawful refuse disposal' [Zachary Runningwolf, Native Elder and founder and main keeper of the O2D site] spends much time cleaning up trash dumped and thrown there by ordinary all-Amerikans blazing down the freeway. The other seriously bogus charge is `unlawful restraining of an animal' [????? - there aren't and never have been kept animals at the site].

If there's anybody breaking the law in this case, it's Cartrance, by dint of violating a Native Sacred Space and stealing Native artifacts such as Eagle feathers.

So I'm sending out this alert in the hope that we get as many people as possible to the site in the hope of getting CarTrance to see reason and cease and desist.
