"Jail The Real Criminals" Oakland Fastfood Workers March & Protest For $15 Wage & Union

Hundreds of fast-food workers and supporters rallied and marched in Oakland and were arrested for blocking the street at 12th and Broadway. The protesters demanded that the "police arrest the real criminals".

Fastfood workers from the East Bay rallied at Oakland civic center
and marched to Broadway and 12th St. where a Burger King was.
It was closed so they had a sit in on the street where some were
arrested. The demanded that the police "arrest the real criminals".
Many workers are forced to pay for food stamps and healthcare benefits.
The action coincided with protests throughout the United States.
