Hello Dear Richard and Robin, I am writing to you with much great concern. I understand you now are allowing animals to be given away for free. I am an animal activist and I repeat I have extreme great concerns. Have you not heard about all that has taken place through Craig's List and all that PETA is currently working on? Free is just that, FREE. That one word opens up an unfortunate Pandora's Box for so many ill minded people out there. This unfortunately is something you have no control over. As being an animal activist I have known and heard too many horrible incidents where animals of all kinds are concerned. When an animal is offered for free too many take the animal for tainted reasons such as dog fighting/baiting . skinning alive just for the fun of it, torturing just for the fun of it, abuse come in so many forms and the innocent suffer. Be it puppies, kittens, older animals and so forth it just doesn't matter.

I am asking you seriously to reconsider your decision of allowing animals to be offered for free. When someone has to pay for an animal/pet they tend to take the responsibility a lot more seriously and responsibly than if it is free. I am not saying everyone is like that but then you just never know who is or who isn't. The chances are so much greater for abuse and neglect to take place if the responsibility is determined through a FREEBIE.

PLEASE, I AM ASKING YOU TO RECONSIDER THIS. Think of the baby animals and their well being PLEASE.
