Gentle Barn, Ellie Laks investigated by IRS... for fraud, embezzlement, animal neglect

Ellie Laks real name Yael Laks stated she started a farm animal rescue called the “Gentle Barn” by herself out of her home in 1999. She recently released a book about her experience called “My Gentle Barn.” She is most famous for appearing on Ellen DeGeneres to beg for donations to rescue 60 cows in “deplorable” conditions. $200,000 was raised but the cows were never rescued because they never existed. Ellie Laks pocketed the donations while the IRS and Attorney General Investigated. Ellie Laks now has major problems with the IRS and other agencies.
