We did it! The Israeli Zim Apartheid ship has still not unloaded a single container!
Bay Area activists united for Palestine have made a huge victory this week!
Both am and pm ILWU shifts honored our very small but committed picket line.
A bazillion thanks to all those who could be there!

Urgent: We need as many people as possible to be at West Oakland BART at 5am
tomorrow to continue this historic blockade!!

NO APARTHEID SHIP IN OUR SAN FRANCISCO BAY!

Here is a brief report back

"Long story short, we won this round. We had two gates
blocked, the ones we knew were vulnerable, and both stopped the gangs.
The crane operators would work, but the lashing gangs would not. No
lashings off, no boxes move. They drove out saying "we're outta
here", and the cranes stopped. We left about nine. The cops were out
in force, but on their best behavior. "

There is rumor that the Zim ship may sail out to see without unloading any cargo tomorrow.
Nothing is for certain. If it does, we will celebrate it's departure from our bay.
If it doesn't we will continue our vigilance. Hope you can join us in the dark hours of the morning:
Occupation is a Crime, from Afghanistan to Palestine!
