Congressman Ellison is the Co-Chair of the Progressive Caucus, first and only Muslim to serve in Congress, and Member of the Financial Services Committee. Ellison has fought diligently for underserved and underrepresented communities and has brought social justice to the forefront.

TELL CONGRESSPERSONS BARBARA LEE AND KEITH ELLISON --NO MORE WEAPONS FOR ISRAEL'S OCCUPATION REGIME

What: Demonstration outside Barbara Lee's Fundraiser

When: Thursday, September 4th, from 6 to 8:30 pm

Congressperson Lee represents many of us in the most progressive district in the country. She calls herself a "Renegade for Justice." But when it comes to justice for the Palestinian people, she unswervingly supports "robust" US military aid for Israel's occupation regime. Each year she votes for $3.1 billion of our tax dollars going to Israel in military aid. In addition, while the recent massacre in Gaza was still raging, Lee voted for hundreds of millions of dollars MORE to enhance ISrael's Iron Dome defense system. Not a penny for the people of Gaza to defend their lives, homes, schools, hospitals, mosques or shelters from Israel's bombardment.

COME TOGETHER with a coalition of solidarity organizations and activists to call on Lee and Ellison, as leaders in the Black and Progressive COngressional Caucus, to be renegades for justice in Israel-Paleestine. BRING SIGNS!! We'll have the JVP banner.
