NEW PODCAST!!!- feed://http://www.outfarpress.com/podcast.xml (128kb Highest Quality)

This week's show features stories from Spanish National Radio, Radio Havana Cuba, The Voice Of Russia, NHK World Radio Japan, and Radio Deutsche-Welle.
From SPAIN- The European Parliament voted in Jean-Claude Juncker as the new President of the European Commission, despite serious opposition from Euroskeptics. Then a report on the war developing between Israel and Palestine as of late Wednesday.
From CUBA- A Norwegian doctor has accused Israel of using cancer-causing bombs in their attacks on Palestine. The US has given strong support to Israeli attacks on Palestine, saying that Israel was not using disproportionate force. The US has signed the largest arms deal of the year, an $11 billion sale to Qatar. A three day BRICS summit took place in Brazil, with a primary goal of creating a developing bank, similar to the World Bank and the IMF. They decided to pool $100 billion in a reserve bank in Shanghai. Venezuelan President Maduro said that the changes established by the BRICS summit will "change the curse of the 21st century," by altering the political and economic world order.
From RUSSIA- An interview with Tom Wheeler, an ambassador from South Africa, on the effect the creation of a BRICS bank will have on the balance of power across the globe.
From JAPAN- Japan's Nuclear Regulatory Authority has approved a draft safety plan to restart nuclear reactors at the Sendai power plant in southern Japan. Anti-nuclear groups in Japan have begun protesting the decision to restart the plants and encouraging the public to speak out. There was a protest outside the Diet in Tokyo against the new reinterpretation of the Constitution which allows for collective self-defense.
From GERMANY- A Ukrainian military plane was shot down by separatists along the Russian border on Monday. 20 civilians were killed by government rocket attacks in eastern Ukraine by Tuesday. Both the US and EU have said they will impose new economic sanctions against Russia for supporting Ukrainian separatists. A Swedish court has upheld the arrest warrant against Julian Assange who remains in the Ecuadorian embassy in England.

I was interviewed for an informative weekly radio show Mediageek, available at http://radio.mediageek.net

All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
TIME SLOT on KZYX! This program will be aired on Sunday afternoon at 4pm (PST) on KZYX/Z Philo CA, you might be able to stream via < http://www.kzyx.org >

I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated. Any stations rebroadcasting this (or listeners) are welcome to donate for production costs. You can do so through the website. Many thanks to those that have donated! No Guilt! (maybe a little)
