Three Girls Beaten By Police After Demo for Andy Lopez

by Dave 'Davey D' Cook (repost)
Breaking News: Yesterday there was a big rally for Andy Lopez in Santa Rosa.. Youth from all over the city including many of Andy's classmates stood in front of the DA's office demanding she resign.. After the rally the police beat up 3 Latino girls, two of them 13 the other 14.. One is still in the hospital for injuries..
The girls were leaving the rally, saw an unattended bike laying the street, went to pick it up and was told by the owner it was his bike.. The girls let the bike go but the man called police who tracked the girls down and roughed them up pretty bad.. They were put in squad cars where police then laughed about how Andy Lopez was bad kid..

We will be playing the interview this afternoon on Hard Knock Radio - 94.1 at 4pm from one of the chief civil rights lawyers, Jonathan Melrod up in Santa Rosa who will give you the entire breakdown.. Jonathan noted the recent decision by the DA has sent a green-light to police that they can act with impunity and with the beating of these 3 Latinas, we are seeing that play out from Half Moon Bay to Salinas to SF.. Brown folks are being gunned down by police

There will be a big rally at 1pm on Saturday in downtown Santa Rosa.. Tune in today and spread the word..
