§EVICTION @ 26TH AND LUCKY UPDATE
by ME
Some good news. Keep up the pressure.

We got a call from the Eviction Defense Collaborative that we do have some legal recourse in the case. Also heard from David Campos and I'd like to thank him for the help and advice.
Thanks also to those who called and emailed on our behalf.

We are still facing eviction though and I wanted to include contact info for the lawyer and management company who are out to displace us:

Please, more soon- need details to rally support/action through SF Board of Sups, State Reps Ammiano and Leno, and other allied forces.

I just got back from the Eviction Defense Collaborative and they
said that it was too late to do anything "legal".

Master tenant did not tell us that we are being evicted (why?).
He collected our rent and did not pay landlord.

All we can do is attend the settlement hearing and put pressure on the master tenant there to not settle and take off with our money and for the landlord not to evict us.

Maybe...hopefully some political pressure would help too.
