States should have the right to resist financial deregulation, risky financial products, genetically modified corn and salmon and chlorinated chicken. The Investor-State Settlement mechanism in the TTIP gives corporations the same status as nation states, undermines sovereignty and allows corporations to have rights without responsibilities or liabilities.

about eliminating social and environmental safeguards
in pursuit of corporate profit. The proposed EU-US free
