Housed and houseless advocates of fair treatment in cafes are returning to encourage downtown cafes not to discriminate against homeless people with backpacks.

We are also encouraging peaceful restoration of the vital downtown scene being crushed under the Downtown Ordinances that drove away the Great Morgani and other street performers. Bring instruments, signs, friends, video!

An account of the last protest "Successful Protest Against Backpack Bigotry Restores Street Scene for Two Hours" is at https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2014/02/20/18751317.php

§No excuses for bigotry

Folks are invited to share opinions and pass them on to others in hopes that cafe managements around town will resume prior non-discriminatory behavior and serve homeless people, even in the face of pressure from those certain interest groups who want to drive the poor out of town.

Please post your own experiences positive and negative here and share them on facebook and other websites.

HUFF's sidewalk coffee will be free and in keeping with our motto: We Reserve the Right to Serve Everyone.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
