After starting an 63 day occupation (Occupy 2 Decolonize) at the Indigenous Burial site at 34th and Telegraph Ave. in Oakland. The conflict which included occupying, feeding the community (every Tuesday), dropping banners off the freeway and upside down Amerikkklan flags, composting toilets, planting gardens and trees. It progressed into Caltrans entering the property and hacking down all the trees and eventually stealing Indigenous elders camp which including the camping gear (including a tee pee), sacred Indigenous Games and Eagle Feathers (Felony Grand Theft) and Cellphone. The conflict included the Safety First which has no jurisdiction on State property and was met with resistance which included an unidentified woman trashing this persons vehicle with falling rocks from the freeway. The police (OPD) and the DA contrived that somehow RunningWolf had assaulted this vehicle with pee and must be pay for this with an eventual 90 days conviction which he served 45 days in Santa Rita Prison as all the Judges told us their were conspiring against RunningWolf and were threatening a County Bullet (one Year) for trespassing while protecting his peoples ancestors on Indigenous Land. After all this the DA has filed "littering" charges against Mr. RunningWolf for the initial stop by 6 (OPD) cars while this elder has been cleaning Lake Merritt for 15 years. He just got out of Berkeley City jail for a 300 dollar bicycle warrant as UC Kaboomkeley is afraid that Mr. RunningWolf will again protected the Park from the University's tentacles as they are planning to develop after 45 years of fending them off here they come again. They confiscated some climbing gear in the arrest and we will try to get it back or replace through donations.
