This BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS celebrates all the creatures of the earth and reminds us that we are a part of the interdependent web of all existence. This symbolic ritual continues the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi, our City's namesake and patron of animals and the environment.

REV. EARL W. KOTEEN, Consulting Minister for Environmental Justice of the UU Legislative Ministry of California will speak on
"WELCOME TO THE ARK" -- how animals are being affected by global climate change and what we can to liberate and protect them.

Bring your animal companions (or a photograph of them to share) and participate in this tribute to all creatures.
