Louisiana CPRA votes to move forward on a lawsuit against the USACE

by wtulnews
The Louisiana CPRA voted last week to move forward with ligitation against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for their damages to vast swath of protective wetlands around a shipping channel, the MR-GO, which was found to have been neglected by the Corps, and found to be a major cause of the flooding of New Orleans in 2005.

Garret Graves, Steve Wilson, and author John Barry comment on the suit, and how it complements and potentially conflicts with a suit filed by John Barry and the New Orleans Protection Authority against 97 oil and gas companies, a suit defended by the ousted Barry and his non-profit, Restore Louisiana Now.
