Truckers Shut Down Port Entrance This Morning 5 a.m. Oakland
This morning, starting at 5 a.m. the Oakland Truckers shut down the first entrance to the port at K Street and Middle Harbor Road. Police are already notifying truckers that they will enforce keeping the intersection open at 5:17a.m.
The Oakland Port Truckers have shut down the first entrance to the port at 5a.m. this morning, Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Police have already announced that they will enforce keeping the intersection at K Street and Middle Harbor Road. Oakland Port Truckers will need more folks in solidarity to shut down further entrances to the port and maintain the picket lines against the enforcement of the Oakland Police Department. Rides are available to the port shut down from the West Oakland BART this morning.
Folks expect to need a constant influx of people throughout the day to shut down the 11am and 5pm shifts as well.
