Nationwide demonstrations sweep Syria again
On Friday, another wave of anti-government protests swept Syria. In spite of hunger and continued assaults by the Assad regime, they continue. Banners today promoted religious tolerance.
(ANA) "Christians are an essential part of Syria and those who think otherwise are not Syrians" is the message sent by demonstrators who took to the streets this afternoon in the Kafranbel area of Idlib province on a new Friday of anti government demonstrations across Syria; among the chants of demonstrators "God, Syria, Freedom" and "The Syrian people are one".
