Richmond Oct 1 Speak Out For BART Transit Workers And All Public Workers And Against Workp
A community labor rally was held in front of Richmond city hall on October 1, 2013 to support the struggle of BART transit workers, to defend Richmond city workers who are being bullied on the job. City officials spoke about the epidemic of bullying against public workers and for the need to unite all public and private workers. They were joined by state workers and a representative of the United Teachers Of Richmond.
Richmond Oct 1 Speak Out For BART Transit Workers And All Public Workers And Against Workplace Bullying
On October 1, 2013 community and labor leaders and activists rallied at Richmond city hall to support the BART ATU 1555, SEIU 1021 and AFSCME 3993 transit workers who face an attack and demands for concessions.
Speakers included Richmond city council member Jovanka Beckles, Richmond Human Rights Commission chair Kathleen Sullivan, United Teachers of Richmond secretary of the union Mary Flanagan and Richmond city employee and educator against Workplace Bullying Stacie Plummer.
