The Oakland Greens are your local chapter of the Green Party. We are committed to a just and sustainable city.

We will be running several candidates in 2014, and our platform will include:
• A commitment to confronting the crisis facing our youth in crime, education and employment.
• Redistricting that ensures a voice is given to those living in the Oakland flatlands as well as those in the hills.
• A commitment to fully funding schools, libraries, parks, and enrichment programs including arts, music, and sports.
• Community policing from the actual community and restorative justice in lieu of revolving door jails.
• Investment in urban greening including tree cover, use of gray water, and community gardens.
