This week's show features stories from Radio Deutsche-Welle, Radio Havana Cuba, the Voice of Russia, Spanish National Radio, and NHK World Radio Japan.
From GERMANY- A panel of Egyptian judges has recommended that the Muslim Brotherhood be dissolved. A military tribunal has sentenced many supporters of ousted President Morsi to long terms, and Morsi is still held in an undisclosed location. Julian Assange has filed criminal charges in Germany against a US Marine that spied on him 4 years ago at a computer conference. The NSA spied on French diplomats, hacked into al-Jazeera's computers, and Brazil and Mexico have summoned US Ambassadors over NSA spying on their Presidents.
From CUBA- The Senate in Brazil has formed an investigative committee to find out how deep NSA spying has gone in their country. Venezuelan President Maduro has blamed the right-wing opposition for an electrical blackout across half of the country. UN Secretary General Ban ki Moon has reiterated that only the Security Council can authorize any use of force against Syria over an alleged chemical weapons attack.
From RUSSIA- American media is reporting that Russian President Putin had softened his stance on a unilateral attack on Syria by the US, but Russian commentators do not see it that way.
From SPAIN- John Kerry asserted that the US makes it own decisions and will not be impeded by the UN in an attack on Syria, while British politicians recalled the lies used to justify the second war on Iraq. The former NATO chief Javier Solano, expressed his misgivings about any US military action in Syria.
From JAPAN- Another report on the Japanese government spending tax money to try to stop the spread of radiation into the Pacific Ocean. On Tuesday the radiation level of the water leaking could kill a person 4 hours after exposure. Google has released recent street and coastal images of the Fukushima area on their Map program. South Korea has proposed a complete import ban on Japanese marine and agricultural products due to radiation concerns.

I was interviewed for an informative weekly radio show Mediageek, available at http://radio.mediageek.net

All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
NEW TIME SLOT on KZYX! This program will be aired on Sunday afternoon at 4pm (PDST) on KZYX/Z Philo CA, you might be able to stream via < http://www.kzyx.org >

I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated. Any stations rebroadcasting this (or listeners) are welcome to donate for production costs. You can do so through the website. Many thanks to those that have donated! No Guilt! (maybe a little)

"We have currently a built-in allergy to unpleasant or disturbing information. Our mass media reflect this. But unless we get up off our fat surpluses and recognize that television in the main is being used to distract, delude, amuse and insulate us, then television and those who finance it, those who look at it and those who work at it, may see a totally different picture too late."
--Edward R Murrow
