US plans to bomb Syria over use of chemical weapons

by Lynda Carson (tenantsrule [at] yahoo.com)
The United States has more weapons of mass destruction (nuclear weapons) than any other country on the planet. With U.S. Troops still in Iraq in a bloody war started by federal government officials who falsely claimed Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, protesters believe that government officials and politicians do not have any credibility when trying to sell another bloody war to the American public.
US plans to bomb Syria over use of chemical weapons

By Lynda Carson - August 31, 2013

Oakland - As the Obama Administration calls for the bombing of Syria from the Rose Garden during this Labor Day holiday weekend, thousands in cities across the nation have hit the streets in protest against a war with Syria. The protesters are up against a well oiled mass media propaganda war machine making a case against Syria for it's alleged use of chemical weapons, against it's civilian population.

Meanwhile, a closely watched class action lawsuit known as the Vietnam Veterans of America et al. V. CIA et al., (case number 4:09-cv-00037), is winding it's way through the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. A class action lawsuit brought against the U.S. Government by veterans that were used as guinea pigs in thousands of experiments that included the use of chemical and biological weapons, and filed in the City of Oakland.

As recent as October 2012, U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken certified a class of around 100,000 current and former members of the armed services who have been used as guinea pigs in experiments conducted by the military and the CIA with the help of Nazi scientists from Germany. According to the Vietnam Veterans of America, thousands of experiments have allegedly exposed the veterans to chemical and biological weapon's tests that were conducted since the early 1950s, until at least 1976. The experiments using veterans as guinea pigs included mustard gas, nerve agents, and dangerous drugs such as barbiturates, amphetamines, LSD, mescaline, plus other chemicals that left the veterans with long-lasting impairments, and disabilities.

During the past week as President Barack Obama, Vice President Joseph Biden, Senator John McCain, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Secretary of State John Kerry, and former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta hit the airwaves to do their best to make a case against Syria for the alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians, it could not be ignored that the corporate mass media failed to mention that the Federal Government itself is involved in a major class action lawsuit. A class action lawsuit involving tens of thousands of veterans who have been used as guinea pigs, and exposed to chemical and biological weapons by the U.S. military and the CIA.

According to the federal complaint filed in court, the CIA and the Army with the help of Nazi scientists recruited through "Project Paperclip," used around 7,800 veterans alone at the Edgewood Arsenal, as human guinea pigs for human experimentation.

Additionally, experiments secretly financed and directed by the CIA in a monstrous government program known as MKULTRA used veterans as human guinea pigs at Fort Detrick, Maryland, and universities and hospitals across the nation that were involved in the experiments through contracts with the federal government.

The veteran's advocacy groups including Swords to Plowshares and Vietnam Veterans of America are seeking free medical care for the veterans who were used as human guinea pigs in experiments involving chemical and biological weapons, including other dangerous drugs, that have left the veterans with long-lasting impairments, and disabilities.
