This week's show features stories from Radio Deutsche-Welle, the Voice of Russia, Spanish National Radio, Radio Havana Cuba, and NHK World Radio Japan.
From GERMANY- The UN is investigating claims that the Syrian military used chemical weapons near Damascus- the government says it is false propaganda. The Egyptian military has swept away the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, extended President Morsi's arrest, and Vice President el Baradei is being sued for resigning. EU leaders has decided to suspend the delivery of any equipment that the Egyptian military might use against protestors. British police are examining new information about the death of Princess Diana which alleges military involvement. The British government is defending its detention of David Miranda, saying that seizing and destroying his journalistic materials is justified under anti-terrorism acts.
From RUSSIA- The Guardian newspaper in Britain was forced to allow the destruction of hard drives allegedly containing Edward Snowden's leaked information about NSA spying. An interview with a journalist at the Guardian.
From SPAIN- Egyptian lawyers have called for an international investigation into the deaths of 37 protestors who were being held in custody. Protests have been held around the world over the Egyptian military massacres. Several press reviews about the growing conflict between Spain and the British government over the territory of Gibraltar. Ecuador is to open up a formerly protected part of the Amazon rainforest for oil drilling, despite local indigenous opposition.
From CUBA-  Mexico is developing a new energy plan- one side wants to privatize Pemex, the national oil company, and the other rejects the idea. In Colombia protests over the government's free trade agreements and neo-liberal policies became huge this week. According to the Wall Street Journal, the NSA now captures 75% of all US internet traffic.
From JAPAN- New revelations this week of fresh leaks of radiation from the Fukushima Nuclear plant into the Pacific Ocean. And they admitted that far more radiation has reached the ocean in the past 2 years than they previously reported. I was interviewed for an informative weekly radio show Mediageek, available at http://radio.mediageek.net

All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
NEW TIME SLOT on KZYX! This program will be aired on Sunday afternoon at 4pm (PDST) on KZYX/Z Philo CA, you might be able to stream via < http://www.kzyx.org >

I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated. Any stations rebroadcasting this (or listeners) are welcome to donate for production costs. You can do so through the website. Many thanks to those that have donated! No Guilt! (maybe a little)
