NAACP Action Alert re End Racial Profiling Act
The End Racial Profiling Act (ERPA) has now been introduced in the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House. The ERPA addresses racial profiling by law enforcement at five levels: it defines racially discriminatory practices, it creates federal prohibition against racial profiling, it mandates data collection, it provides funding for retraining law enforcement on how to discontinue and prevent the use of racial profiling and it holds law enforcement agencies accountable.
