Tenants March to Stop Eviction this Sunday
This Sunday, two days before the eviction of the Hotel Petaluma, tenants and supporters will march through downtown to pressure property owner to meet demands.
The Sonoma County Solidarity Network and Hotel Petaluma tenants will hold a march and rally this Sunday at 2pm in Penry Park (downtown Petaluma) against the unjust eviction of nearly 100 residents from the Hotel Petaluma. Carpools leave from Santa Rosa at the Peace and Justice Center at 1pm. After the march attendees will be treated to a free "Nonviolent Direct Action Workshop" led by long-time Bay Area activist/trainer David Solnit.
