Rwandan warlord Bosco Ntaganda's implausible surrender

by KPFA Evening News, Ann Garrison, 04.23.2013
Rwandan warlord Bosco Ntaganda's surrender at the U.S. Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda, was reported by media outlets all over the world on Monday, 03.18.2013, although most described Ntaganda as a "Congolese rebel." Rwandan American Charles Kambanda, a law professor at St. John's University-New York City, and former professor at the National University of Rwanda, told KPFA that the U.S. Embassy is so heavily fortified, and guarded by Rwandan police, that this story is totally implausible.
