Longshore workers are under attack on both coasts in the US. Jose L. Ojeda who is a leader of ILA 1575 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Jack Heyman, ILWU Local 10 retired longshore worker discuss the attacks on workers on both coasts. In the Northwest ILWU grain elevator workers face a union busting effort by the international grain companies who want to impose a concession contract similar to the EGT contract at Longview, Washington. They are now working under 12 hour days and under dangerous health and safety conditions. In the East Coast longshore workers are also under attack on PR longshore workers are not treated equally according to Jose L. Ojeda.
