We’re partnering with Drew Detweiler, UCSC’s Digital Arts & New Media Department, Rose Sellery, Tobin Keller and Tina Brown of ilkastyle for this month’s Third Friday event to feature an eclectic mix of local fashion and emerging digital art. Artists will light up the MAH with audiovisual performances, live video mixing, interactive games, and iPad storytelling. Intrigued by the world of mechatronics? We will present multimedia performances, participatory art installations, photography, and digital puzzles. Plus, guests can meet the artists, enjoy live music, and even participate in cutting-edge creations!
Don’t miss a dynamic runway show that will wind through the atrium at 6:30pm highlighting work by local fashion artists and designers such as Rose Sellery, Tobin Keller and Barbara Bartels, Angelo Grova, Rachel Riot of Manic Designs, and IBBayo. Create fashion art in a style all on your own with DIY fashion art workshops, or bring your own T-shirt to silkscreen with Notorious Teaze. Visitors will also get the chance to experience featured work by Sally Esposito, Andrea Graziosi, Christina Morgan Cree, Kathleen Crocetti, The Great Morgani, Charlotte Kruk, Caroline Webster, and teen fashion artists.
