For our winter POSSE party, the theme is
DIY: Get Your Hands Dirty, Because Democracy Is Messy.
Drop in any time between 4 and 8 PM at the Long Haul in Berkeley, 3124 Shattuck, about 3 long blocks from Ashby BART
We'll be learning to make gloves to keep our dirty hands toasty
We'll be exploring how to have more fun and meaningful and hands-on meetings
We'll be looking at how to make the BACE timebank a more democratic organization (as well as orienting folks new to the concept).
A zine-making table will be open---we'll have some supplies, and you're welcome to add to them. People are invited to help us start a zine-style guidebook made by Timebank users.
So bring your seething brains full of ideas! Bring your skills to share! Bring food and beverages! Family, neighbors, lovers, friends, kids... bring them too!
