During the final days leading up to the election, at least seven Horseshoe casino officers, many of them union supporters were either fired, or quit just before the upcoming vote on Friday November 16th. “In a last ditch effort to suppress the vote Horseshoe casino management challenged every EMT employee who came to vote in this NLRB election” stated Steve Maritas SPFPA Organizing Director.
