This public educational event analyzed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) -- the annual military funding bill for 2012 -- which contains controversial provisions which could restrict our constitutional rights of free speech and assembly and makes indefinite military detention possible.

Held at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco on Sunday, July 29, 2012, and sponsored by UUs for Peace-SF and the San Francisco 99% Coalition, the following persons spoke:

Dolores Perez Priem, Organizer
Rev. Jeremiah Kalendae, Minister
Arthur Persyko, Organizer
Shahid Buttar, Executive Director, Bill of Rights Defense Committee
Grace Shimizu, Organizer, Asian Americans for Peace & Justice
Nancy Mancias, Code Pink Accountability Campaigner
