The Santa Cruz Eleven face 7 years in prison apiece for supporting a peaceful protest last November at a vacant Wells Fargo Bank. Their supporters will be distributing literature before the S.F. Mime Troupe show on Saturday and possibly Sunday as well.
Art and Revolution's Mega-puppets will come out of retirement to oversee the proceedings, compliments of Grant Wilson, one of the SC-11, whose charges have been dismissed.
Grant and either Ben Rice or Steve Pleich will also speak on KZSC's Wednesday Talkabout show hosted by John Sandich 7-8:30 PM at 88.1 FM. Call-in at 459-4036.
In the largest mass felony indictment in recent Santa Cruz history, 7 of the Santa Cruz Eleven will have a Preliminary Hearing 9 AM Monday August 20th in Department 6.
